Making Audio & Video Accessible

Learn how to make recorded lectures and multimedia content accessible for all learners. This workshop explores accessibility requirements for audio and video, including accurate captions, transcripts, speaker identification, meaningful sounds, and caption quality standards. Faculty will also learn how to use Panopto captioning tools, when to request professional captioning, and practical strategies for creating media that meets accessibility standards while improving the learning experience for every student.
