About this event

George Pullman died on October 19, 1897, and legend has it he was laid to rest in a "grave of stone and iron," protected for eternity by rail ties, asphalt, and concrete to prevent angry workers from desecrating his remains. Join a park ranger for a 30-minute virtual excavation where we'll dig through fact and fiction in an attempt to get to the bottom of this famous urban legend.
