About the Book Step inside This Oak House , a thoughtfully renovated historic home in Los Angeles. What began as Annie Meyers-Shyer’s personal Instagram evolved into a trusted resource for candid renovation insight and refined design. In this book, with the foreword by design director (and mother) Nancy Meyers, she opens her for the first time—sharing original plans, sketches, mood boards, paint colors, and practical lessons learned—offering both inspiration and guidance for creating a timeless, livable home. About the Author Annie Meyers-Shyer is the creator behind This Oak House , where she shares the story of her family’s home renovation and her approach to thoughtful design and living. Her work celebrates the connection between beauty and function, ing how craftsmanship and details can shape a home that feels both timeless and lived in. Through This Oak House , she’s built a community that values authenticity, craftsmanship, and the stories found in the making of a home. Her first book, forthcoming in 2026, continues that conversation, offering a closer look at how design can hold memory, meaning, and time.
