About this event
Join us on Friday, November 20th from 7:30–10:00 PM for a live performance by Renu at Smash’d! Renu is an Austin-based R&B and acid jazz collective led by saxophonist Renu, and they bring something genuinely different to a Friday night. Smooth grooves, rich harmonies, contemporary R&B, and real jazz depth woven throughout — their sound is sophisticated without being stuffy, and groovy without being predictable. Renu’s saxophone leads the way with a magnetic presence that anchors the whole collective, and the band behind her knows how to lock in and keep a room moving from start to finish. The kind of Friday night set you actually remember on Saturday morning. Free entry. Free parking. Happy Hour runs 5–7 PM with half off apps. Come early and settle in.
