Konrad Kono

About this event

This event is a rental, not a Lobero presentation. A cherished fixture in the Santa Barbara community, Konrad has inspired thousands of children and families through his 31 years of teaching and 21 years of his esteemed Camp Kono. His mission to spread kindness, empathy, positivity, and joy shines through every performance, as he seamlessly weaves together classical, jazz, pop, soul, and his own original compositions into an evening that is both uplifting and deeply personal. This expanded concert features an all-star ensemble, including a dynamic Los Angeles brass horn section, alongside a beautiful string quartet of musicians from Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. Whether you know him as “Mr. Kono” or are discovering his music for the first time, don’t miss the chance to experience one of Santa Barbara’s true treasures live in concert. Fun for the whole family—and if last year’s sold-out show is any indication, you’ll want to get your tickets early!
