City Winery NYC presents The Mamales featuring Founding Member Raquel Nobile Fernandez live on Sunday, October 25th, at 7:00 PM! The Mamales met while performing in the acclaimed Drama Desk Award-winning Yiddish production of Fiddler on the Roof, directed by Joel Grey at the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene. They bonded over their love of Golden Age music and pickles, and soon realized there was something special about singing together. In 2022, they officially formed 'The Mamales' at a deli on the Lower East Side. Now performing nationwide, the dynamic trio brings audiences an entertaining mix of Yiddish favorites, Broadway classics, beloved standards, and more. Their name pays homage to the legendary Molly Picon, who also inspired their debut recording of “Abi Gezunt,” available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music.
