Campus Sustainability Walking Tour

About this event

The Campus Sustainability Walking Tour hosted by the Office of Sustainability will run rain or shine on 10/29 from 1-2pm and includes two tracks to choose from. Register to learn more about sustainable operations on campus! Zero Waste Programs, Local Food Sourcing, and Green Buildings This tour showcases the Davis Center, the nation's first LEED Gold student union building, and dives deep into the operations of dining and waste programs that strive for zero waste and prioritize local procurement. Meet in Davis Center Atrium (bottom floor) Corey Berman, Recycling & Zero Waste Program Manager, Office of SustainabilitySydney Howard, Vermont First Program Manager, SodexoLiz Amler, Sustainable Education & Engagement Coordinator, Office of SustainabilitySustainable Transportation, Landscape Operations, and Campus Energy Systems This tour includes notable campus gardens, covers a variety of sustainable transportation infrastructure, and highlights district and renewable energy systems.
