Family Day: Ekphrastic Poetry with Matt Mason

About this event

Bring the whole family to Sheldon for a day of art, words, and creativity with former State Poet of Nebraska Matt Mason. Inspired by Grace Hartigan: The Gift of Attention , Mason will lead interactive poetry activities that transform looking into writing. Families can also enjoy free snacks, art making activities, and other hands-on experiences throughout the museum. This event is free and open to all. Registration is encouraged. Register Now Funding provided by Humanities Nebraska and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, Melanie and Jon Gross, Rhonda Seacrest, Nebraska Arts Council, Sherwood Foundation, and Sheldon Art Association members.
