Beyond the Lab is a workshop series for students that teaches critical and creative approaches to technology. Participants learn a skill, contribute to a project, and explore a related career path. In this workshop, we'll investigate how data bias impacts the Metro East, and what we can do about it. Participants will learn foundational data concepts and contribute to a project that challenges biased narratives about our local communities. October 23 10:00-11:30 a.m. IRIS Center (Peck 2226)
