pell-center-roundtable-the-ongoing-crisis-in-foreign-policy

About this event

The world feels dangerous right now with conflicts continuing in Ukraine and the Persian Gulf. Russian President Vladimir Putin has threatened the use of nuclear weapons while China quietly builds power and influence around the world and U.S. President Trump reportedly eyes possible military action in Yemen, Cuba, and against narco-traffickers in South America. Is this the new normal? What does it reveal about the transformation in the post-World War II global order? How will it shape American politics this year and over the next two years? Dr. Luigi Bradizza and Dr. Jim Ludes will moderate this discussion. Roundtable discussions are open to Salve students, faculty and staff. The Pell Center will provide a free lunch. Space is limited.
