BABY BLOOD

About this event
A parasitic creature escapes from the body of an exotic animal and takes refuge inside Yanka, a performer in a travelling circus. Now carrying an unnatural pregnancy, she hears the creature speaking to her and is compelled to satisfy its endless demand for human blood. As Yanka cuts a violent path across France, the relationship between mother and unborn monster becomes increasingly intimate and difficult to escape.\ \ Alain Robak’s splattery French body-horror comedy combines the biological nightmare of early Cronenberg with the unruly energy of European exploitation cinema.
