About this event

The Office of Diversity and Inclusion presents the kickoff installment of this year’s Red Talks! We invite all Seattle University community members - students, faculty, staff, and alumni - to the Fall Red Talk. This October 29th, Professor Jennifer Marrone, PhD (Albers School of Business & Economics) will be presenting her talk " Balancing Humanity and AI as Teamwork Evolves. " Red Talks is a speaker series featuring intersectional voices on a range of topics under the umbrella of inclusive excellence at Seattle University. Led by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion in partnership with the Office of the Provost, the series aims to elevate faculty voices at Seattle University across disciplines, as well as the voices of prominent thought leaders in the broader community. This year’s theme, The Future is Human, offers a forum to explore what it means to design for the greater good with solutions that are rooted in human dignity, truth, and flourishing for all. Together we will examine the importance of human intelligence, curiosity, and humility in fostering solidarity and building just futures.
