CHRIS PITSIOKOS is one of the most well regarded saxists to appear in New York in many years. In less than a decade he has established himself as the new sax wiz to check out. He has toured in the mid-west, Europe and Japan in the past year and has a half dozen discs out as a leader or collaborator. Chris has played solos hewer at DMG several times an each time, he blow some minds!German trombonist MM rarely comes to town so we are glad to get him to play here. MM is part of a recent trombone trio CD on Not Two which is a tribute to the late Johannes Bauer. MM will be joined by GERALD CLEAVER, one of Downtown's best and busiest drummers. Mr. Cleaver is a member of many great bands: Black Host, Farmers By Nature and Kalabalik. This special evening will conclude with a first time meeting of this trio: Chris Pitsiokos, MM and Gerald Cleaver - it should be an historic night!
