The collective is truly an International Ensemble, bringing together musicians from Spain, Japan, Venezuela, and the United States. The Collective features Martin Metzger on flamenco guitar, Rie Katayama on flamenco dance, Marfil Keller Alemán on flamenco voice and flamenco dance, and Remi Kimura on latin percussion. The members have dedicated countless trips to Spain to preserve and bring back the art form’s virtuosity, passion, and spirit. Their performance is a visual and auditory delight, showcasing dynamic interplay that makes flamenco truly an international art form. In addition to traditional Flamenco Palos, the trio explores music that draws from a wide range of traditions, including Brazilian jazz, Afro-Cuban jazz, and Flamenco-jazz; a touch of Japanese aesthetics, standards and original compositions.
