We’ll talk about all things radio with a focus on what you can do to get radio airplay for your band. Audioasis delivers three hours of local music from all pockets and genres of the Pacific Northwest on Saturdays from 6-9pm PST on KEXP. Each week, we’ll dig into the history of our local music scene, share upcoming live shows, and connect the fantastic sounds of our communities to the world through music. Artists based in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, or British Columbia are encouraged to submit their music to be considered for airplay. Kennady Quille: Kennady Quille got her start at KEXP through the youth DJ program 90.Teen when she was 17 and has been on air ever since! She’s done a little bit of this and a little bit of that throughout her years at KEXP but nothing makes her happier than producing a great radio show. She takes a ton of pride in having this platform and is honored to spotlight the amazing artists in the beautiful PNW on KEXP’s Saturday night local music show, Audioasis. She is obsessed with the rich music history of this region and the legacy in the making so it’s an absolute dream job. When she’s not on air, she is a curator at a consignment store and a musician herself. She enjoys hanging out with her kitties, rummaging through record stores, and dancing at local shows all around Seattle.
