About this event
When a teacher disappears beneath a rural school, his archaeologist colleague Hieda arrives to investigate a recently uncovered burial mound. He joins forces with the missing man’s teenage son, Masao, whose classmates are being transformed into grotesque spider-legged heads. Together they must descend into the ancient chambers below the school and prevent a gateway to the world of demons from opening completely.\ \ Following the industrial nightmare of Tetsuo, Shinya Tsukamoto turned to folk horror and creature comedy for this wildly kinetic adaptation of Daijiro Morohoshi’s manga.
