Comedian Bob Marley

About this event

Bob loves being a comedian. He’s wicked good at it! Yes, that’s really his name. No, his parents had no idea. Maine’s favorite comedian (and one of America’s most uniquely sharp stand-up performers) is ringing in the New Year at the Rochester Opera House with not one but two nights of high-energy, laugh-out-loud comedy. Bob Marley has been making audiences roar since his professional debut at a health fair in Maine back in 1991, and he has never once slowed down. His résumé is absurdly good: over 100 television appearances including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and his own Comedy Central special. He won Sirius XM’s Super Bowl of Comedy. He holds a Guinness World Record for the longest continuous stand-up performance – 40 straight hours! He co-starred as Detective Greenly in the cult classic Boondock Saints and its sequel. He has toured the U.S., Europe, Canada, Kuwait, and Iraq, and released over 20 comedy albums and DVDs. And through all of it, he never lost that wicked Maine accent. Bob’s comedy is observational, biographical, and completely relatable – the kind of material that has teenagers and grandparents in their 80s laughing at the exact same thing. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or catching him live for the first time, there’s no better way to spend the last days of 2026 than with the funniest guy from Bangor. December 29 & December 31 – Two chances to catch a legend. Don’t miss either one.
