Set in post- WWII Paris, Kat, the wife of an American foreign correspondent enrolls in culinary school only to stumble on the body of her murdered classmate. After giving her statement to the police, Kat begins to realize that her classmate’s life — and death — were more complicated than she imagined. When another body turns up Kat finds herself embroiled in the investigation. With a killer on the loose, Kat races to solve the case, save her marriage — and her life. Jenna Helwig is the food director at Real Simple, a five-time cookbook author, a culinary school graduate and the creator of the Cookbookery Collective Substack.
