Chicago’s LowDown Brass Band brings a high-energy blend of conscious hip hop, reggae, funk, soul, and brass-fueled grooves to the the Argo. Doors at 7:00pm. Show at 8:00pm. Join us before the show! Our restaurant & lounge opens at 4:00pm with food, cocktails, and more. Embodying the vibrant Chicago music culture, LowDown Brass Band is a one-of-a-kind horn ensemble weaving conscious hip hop, reggae, funk, and soul -- all founded upon a rebellious spirit. Rigorously touring, LowDown has performed on the most unique stages, from the Montreal Jazz Fest, Cotai Jazz Fest, Winnipeg Folk Fest, Alaska Salmon Fest, Golden Road Gathering, Electric Forest, Joshua Tree Music Fest, Bonnaroo, Summer Camp, Tree Fort Music Fest, and back to back EU/UK tours Australia's Cat Empire and international artist Naïka. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and supervised at all times while inside the building. Failure to provide proper supervision may result in removal from the premises. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. 🎟️ Note: $1 from every ticket sold goes to a fund benefiting local artist mental health & wellbeing. Please note that all ticket purchases are final and nonrefundable.
