Shut Up & Write Writing Group

About this event

Do you want to set more more time aside to work on a writing project? The Fairfield County chapter of Shut Up & Write meets every Monday night to help you do just that. Shut Up & Write is an international organization with more than 500 writing groups in more than 80 countries. The idea is simple: Make more time to write by building a community around the process. In line with this goal, each meeting follows a simple format. 1. Set a session goal: At the beginning of each meeting, we go around and share what we plan to accomplish. 2. Write: We set aside an hour to quietly write. 3. Check-in: We chat about how the session went. This is not a critique group; however, it can be a great place to meet a critique partner. Registration required. Presented in partnership with the Fairfield County chapter of Shut Up & Write.
