About this event
Calling all writers! Ready to share a piece of your work in progress? Want to hear directly from other writers in the area? Come join us at Lake City Books for our first ever open mic night in partnership with the Madison Writers' Studio:) Readings will be 5-minutes long - you can pick any part of your work that you're most excited about to share! Or if you're not quite ready to share, you can still come hear from other writers and build community. 12 slots total for the night. Your RSVP doesn't guarantee you a reading slot, sign ups are on first come first serve basis. Sign ups start at 6:15. Event starts at 6:30. All genres welcome:)
