Five professional actors. One entirely sh!t-faced cast member. What could possibly go wrong? The original, award-winning international comedy sensation Sh!t-faced Shakespeare® brings its outrageously unpredictable production of Macbeth to the Claremont Opera House! Shakespeare’s tale of murder, ambition, bloodlust, and the supernatural gets a hilariously drunken twist. Macbeth and his ruthless Lady M are determined to seize the Scottish throne, leaving a trail of chaos in their wake. Nothing a few cocktails couldn’t fix! Five classically trained actors take the stage with traditional Shakespearean language, costumes, sword fights, and plenty of drama. But there’s a catch: one of them is genuinely intoxicated! The four sober performers must use their quick wit and improvisational skills to keep the show on track as their inebriated castmate sends the performance into hilarious chaos. WHAT THE CRITICS ARE SAYING ★★★★★ “Definitely not the Shakespeare that was taught in school…absolutely five-star-worthy chaos.” — Deadline News “There is no doubt this is a hoot to watch.” — Evening Standard “The Bard’s funniest comedy to date.” — Boston Metro “It’s chaotic, it’s crass, it’s fun, and it’s a show that certainly should not be missed.” — Harvard Crimson EVENT INFORMATION Saturday, March 13, 2027 Doors Open: 6:30 PM Show Starts: 7:30 PM Tickets: $35–$45 Running Time: Approximately 100–110 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
