Scream At Your Demons

About this event

All proceeds will be donated directly to Guitars4Vets. Guitars4Vets is a nonprofit founded in 2007 that provides free guitar lessons and a free guitar to veterans living with PTSD and other service-related trauma. The program started in Milwaukee after a guitar instructor and a Vietnam-era Marine veteran discovered music helped with healing, and it has grown to more than 110 chapters in over 40 states, plus remote options. Veterans, typically referred by VA medical staff or a Vet center, complete 10 weeks of one-on-one lessons with volunteer instructors and receive a free acoustic guitar, accessories, and a method book upon graduation. To date, Guitars4Vets reports giving more than 80,000 lessons and over 8,000 guitars to veterans. The organization emphasizes the mental health benefits of learning music. A study cited by Military.com found a 21% improvement in PTSD symptoms and a 27% decrease in depression symptoms among participants. In support of Veteran’s Day, Chaotic Order Entertainment seeks to raise awareness for veterans living with PTSD, and plans to donate all proceeds to the Butler, PA chapter of G4V. Representatives of G4V will be in attendance for the entirety of the event to provide more information and answer any questions regarding their program. This Event Is All Ages All Sales Are Final.
