Michael James & DALT

About this event

Sponsored in part by Founding Footsteps Michael James is a guitarist and vocalist from Philadelphia. He writes original music with a contemporary focus on melody. Michael draws influences from artists including Curtis Mayfield, Steely Dan and João Gilberto. Drawing from a wide array of influences, Philly’s own DALT is a singer and rapper with a knack for catchy melodies and earworm hooks. By fusing elements of pop, hip-hop/rap, and R&B, the 27-year-old creates a uniquely varied and vibrant listening experience. His eighth studio project, the album "sincerely, me", was released on April 8th, 2026. As the main producer of nearly all 10 tracks, DALT explores soulful blends of alternative R&B, neo soul, hip-hop, and more. With excellent pop sensibilities and an exuberant energy on the microphone, none of DALT’s infectious tunes are likely to leave your head any time soon.
