At Charleston Library Society. Experience the ancient process of transforming natural fibers into paper. Using traditional materials such as cotton, hemp, and flax — historically prized for their strength and longevity — you’ll learn the technique of paper making from start to finish. Each participant will leave with sheets perfect for writing, drawing, marbling, and other art forms – ideal for artists and writers, but also anyone who might be curious about handcraft and book arts.
