The Trap Music Orchestra

About this event

The Trap Music Orchestra was founded by Ryan Easter in 2014, synchronizing the aural lineage of Black diasporic music around the modern library of the trap music branch of hip-hop, in the orchestral stye made legendary by greats such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Charles Mingus. Referencing everything from disco and Panamanian folk music, to Debussy and Earth, Wind, & Fire, the group immortalizes the ties of influence that weave throughout the music we listen to. LIVESTREAM TICKETS COMING SOON… The Jazz Gallery is a not-for-profit arts organization presenting emerging artists who challenge convention, take creative risks, and lead their field as performers, composers and thinkers.
