The Threadbarons

About this event

“On the road to ruin, there’s a lot to see…” There’s a dark thread meandering through this music. It weaves its way through tales of sin, regret and desperation. Of loneliness and resolve. Leaving an imperfect fabric — a refreshing polar opposite to perfectly posed Instagram lives. There’s a melancholy soul here that runs to the bone. The music of the Threadbarons is informed by the vast variety of life. Members hail from New York and Florida, the midwest and west Texas. They range in age from their freshly matured 40s to their deeply weathered 60s. You’ll hear the inspirations: Dylan in his electric years; Wilco in their prime. You may be reminded of The Band, as various members take the mic. But you might not hear a more authentic commentary on the very human road we all travel. thethreadbarons.com No cover charge.
