About this event
"Yesterday, We Were Children" by Leila Teitelman A Historically Close Friends workshop reading directed by Kim Jordan When a married couple spends the summer apart, they form strong, intimate connections with younger, queer people. Through this lens, we are encouraged to confront the truth of the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves, especially as we age. "Yesterday, We Were Children" is a compelling, witty, appropriately steamy wrestling match between one's perception of self and connection with others. Get your tickets now to check out its premiere, a workshop reading in the Blackbox space at Phoenix Books in Burlington. Produced in collaboration with Between the Willows and Phoenix Books.
