New Year’s Eve with Pete Siers featuring Dave Bennett & Cliff Monear

About this event

Ring in the New Year with three of Michigan’s finest jazz musicians at Kerrytown Concert House! Clarinetist Dave Bennett, a self-taught prodigy who’s brought his tribute to Benny Goodman to Carnegie Hall and stages across the country, joins Ann Arbor drummer Pete Siers, a first-call sideman who’s shared the bandstand with Russell Malone, Marian McPartland, and Barry Harris, and pianist Cliff Monear, whose “suave touch and relaxed swing” (Detroit Free Press) have made him a fixture of the Midwest jazz scene. Together, this powerhouse trio delivers an evening of swinging standards, soulful ballads, and pure musical chemistry, the kind of chamber jazz only KCH’s intimate stage can offer. Make your downtown dinner reservations and buy your concert seats now, gather your friends, and toast the new year with great music and a complimentary glass of bubbly at The House.
