About this event
1922 - Silent • Live Accompaniment by Randy Woltz on the Mighty Wurlitzer • This is silent horror at its purest. And the behind-the-scenes story is amazing: it was made without permission as a Dracula film, and a court later ordered the prints destroyed. It survived against the odds. Actor Max Schreck’s makeup is one of the most enduring and memorable designs in horror. • Show begins with spooky music on the Mighty Wurlitzer and an old fashioned sing-along.
