About this event
1968 • Introduction by Author Julian David Stone • This is the film that basically rewired zombie culture. One of the most famous bits of movie-business trivia is that it ended up in the public domain because of a release-time copyright notice mistake, which is part of why it spread everywhere. Duane Jones as the lead was also a big deal for the time, and he’s terrific. • Show begins with spooky music on the Mighty Wurlitzer and an old fashioned sing-along.
