About this event
Location: Boston Public Library - Newsfeed Café (700 Boylston St, Boston, MA 02116, USA). Ends 10:45 AM. Come dressed as your favorite book character to help us officially open the Boston Book Festival for its 18th year. Join our parade led by Eleanor Davis, author of A Very Good Parade, to the Children’s Room for storytime! The parade will gather in the Newsfeed Cafe (located inside the Boylston Street Building, at the BPL Central Library in Copley Square) for opening remarks, before marching to the Children’s Room for the opening storytime! Visit the exhibitor area to have your face painted and take a picture with costume characters Arthur and Molly of Denali, who will be by the Brainstorm Tent (led by Reading Is Fundamental). While you’re in the exhibitor area, keep an eye out for Waldo! Candlewick Press presents a Where’s Waldo activity for all to play!
