About this event

Kang makes versatile, culture-rooted hip-hop and pop that moves between worlds—slow and intimate one moment, high-energy and relentless the next. The Germantown, Maryland artist and first-generation Cameroonian-American founded the DMV-based collective 242 in 2016 and grew it into a full creative ecosystem focused on artist development, songwriting, and performance. His music honors his heritage while drawing from the full spectrum of American popular culture, resulting in a sound that's hard to pin down and impossible to ignore.
