About this event
1989 • This is the film that helped kick off Disney’s modern animation run, and you can feel the confidence in the music and the storytelling. It won two Oscars, one for the score and one for “Under the Sea,” and the songs still play like hits because they were built like Broadway numbers. • Show begins with music on the Mighty Wurlitzer and an old fashioned sing-along.
